Top-down shooter development week 4


As development of my next top-down shooter is nearing the end, I am hopping around between making the music, sounds (like I mentioned last time), and cutscene. Most of these aren't at a place where I want to share yet, but I do have a cutscene background to show off:

Additionally, I have the full cutscene storyboarded. Here's one of the storyboards for the shot this will be used in (flashbang warning):


I also used this storyboard as a place to test out some ideas for what style of city to go for, and I ended up with a more unified architecture style. This city only appears in the cutscene, so I hadn't taken the time to design it until this late stage. In the end, I'm pretty happy with the way it looks!
